Warm Water Fly Fishing
Kentucky is a warm water fishery type state; our trout are stocked and fishing for them slows in the late spring/summer. As fly fishing anglers here in Kentucky we’d be crazy not to target warm water fish!
Many opportunities and locations exist for warm water fishing on lakes, rivers, ponds, and streams! I’ve not targeted anything beyond bass, but I’d love to change that soon! The following are some warm water fly fishing opportunities we have explored.
