It’s not very often a float can be organized with life’s busy schedule and the unpredictability of the weather, but the times they do come together are always worth it! Luckily for us we have a huge time saver when we utilize the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife’s great online resource, “The Blue Water Trails“. A free resource documenting numerous floating opportunities accessible to the public in the state of Kentucky! Many of these floats have multiple sections available for half day, full day, or multi-day floats!

Keep in mind, a great way to know if any fun fly fishing float trips are coming up is by joining one of Kentucky’s local fly fishing clubs!
